born into this silent air
upon this breeze of apathy.
within this indifference
a fragile mind has been shaped.

at an early age
questions began to surface
begging for the answers
to undiscovered words.

silent cries lie behind these eyes
curiosity resides within this child
who will not speak
left to the tears of the weak.

as the years pass
finding a mind left alone.
the questions within buried
flow as a raging river deep for words.

covered within a shroud
masked by a veil of silence
watching through the minds window
as the world storms by.

these outcast eyes
hidden within a child
who will not speak.

as time races blindly through
the years of passed seasons.
love's caress deferred
will drown her in the flowing tears.

these questions left
unanswered, untouched
will forever remain alone
to mourn this child's fragile mind.
