When I was young
They said I should pray for everyone.
I picked the worst, beaming with
My new found power.
I can't tell you what
A fucking bad week I had.
Shit happened and happened fast
Making me re-think my application.
Maybe I can't be trusted with power.
I stopped praying for that slug
And life got way better, way fast.
Thinking about it now I wonder
If I should be flattered about
