Tales of Avalon

There is a lady sweet and kind
beyond the blue of yonder,
she fills my heart with joy
wonder in her hair.
I have but known her since
eternity,and that too short
her voice crystal clear
ringing in my ear,painful bliss
telling tales of Avalon,
dreams so dangerous
I dare not let them go.
In this wilderness I tarry
writing thus,I wait the day
wish it soon,our arms entwined,
futile words no longer needed
a simple kiss to confirm again
love still shines,fond
absence gone awhile, forgotten
dreams fading in the morning sun.
