Beautifully Toxic
While kissing up your arm,
I tell you how beautiful your scars are
How adorable your wrists look even with your veins
Being so concerningly dark
You don’t have to be embarrassed
By the dark blue lines in your arm because
They’re the perfect shade of my favorite color—
You, are my favorite.
Every inch of you never ceases to amaze me
Even the veins at your fingertips entice me
I’m craving the heartbeat radiating from
Your arteries, longing for the music
Of your heavy heart when it skips, pounds and
Speeds
With a chorus now engraved into my
Fondest memories, the song stuck in my head
That I can’t stop, singing.
You’re breath taking, especially with those
Dark veins in your fingertips because
When our hands intertwine,
Your dark matches up with
Mine.
