Now, Forever, for all Eternity  

Sometimes it’s not enough just to say “I Love You”
But when I say it, I mean it from the bottom of my heart,
Because you’ve helped me through all the bad times,
You’ve helped me through them all from the start
 
You turned my darkness into sunshine,
That helped guide me through my day,
You showed me the right road to follow,
Then stayed on it with me, so I didn’t stray.
 
You kept me warm when my body shivered,
With your arms that held me tight,
You kept me safe when I was frightened,
You made my demons take to flight.
 
You gave me love and affection,
Even when I pushed you away,
And there were times I thought I’d lost you,
But even then you did not betray.
 
You gave me the will and determination,
To stand and fight and see this through,
You made me love and believe in myself,
But most of all believe in you.
 
You healed my heart when it was hurting,
And you took away the pain,
You filled my cloudy days with sunshine,
When really all I could see was rain.
 
So that’s why, when I say “I Love You”
I mean it from the bottom of my heart,
My life has changed because of you,
I’ve been indebted from the start.
 
So when I say “I Love You”
And hold you close to me,
I’m saying I want to be with you,
For now, Forever, for all eternity.
