Eternity in your Garden
Treading through your perfumed garden,
I would give my eternity.
Your bountiful ripe fruit,
succulent to the tongue,
you give freely to me.
Long, smooth stems accentuate
the beauty of your blossom.
The soft, blushing petals,
of your precious flower,
do invite my attentions.
It's nectar draws me in like a hummingbird,
to taste it's wonders.
It's fragrance, sweet as ambrosia,
beckons me to stay.
Eternity is far to short a time for me
to truly explore, and give the deserved respect,
to your perfect garden.
