Tempted by the Temptation of being Tempted

Is it fair to be tempted by you?
To want you? Need you?
This feeling is killing me
Ripping apart my otherwise concrete mind
Holding my emotions hostage with every thought
I ask, is it fair to be tempted by you?
To give you more and more of me
As the days pass
Not knowing if you even care
At times I regret ever knowing you
Knowing of you, making time for you
Why can't I detox myself of you?
The poison of you runs though my veins
With no antidote no way of curing this pain
I ask, is it fair to be tempted by you?
How am I to survive without you in my life
Does it even matter to you? Why can't you tell me
Is it that you care more than you should?
Is the feeling too much to bear?
Or are you scared of the temptation of me?
How did we get to this point?
The point of self-destruction?
No communication, no verbal stimulation?
Only physical arousal, penetration of the soul without thought
Still I ask, is it fair to be tempted by you?
The answer is....Yes I believe it is!
