Kaleidoscope Coping

Fire red [ passion ] without
Those blue icy shoulders,
Life becomes a kaleidoscope
Of vividly indescribable color
Calm, relaxed and completely
     Serene
When surrounded by purples and
Sea foam greens.
Living inside that colorless
World, I’m--
Restless, anxious, melancholy
From Grey scale emotions and dark
      Dismal dreams
But the grey begins to fade away
When the crystals begin flowing
Sparkling, in my veins.
That's when grey transforms into,
Bright yellows, violets and [ hot ] pinks.
Euphoric colors like aquamarine,
Fill my kaleidoscope and
      Intoxicate me.
Surrounded by confetti
Periwinkle, lavender and mint green,
Coping while looking though
The Turquoise, magenta and
Midnight blue.
Orange syringe caps and
My hot pink shoe lace,
Are trivial-- not even worth
      Mentioning.
It’s a perfect world where I only see
Colors. Not people, not objects,
No Grey scale feelings.
A world where we won't need
      Syringes.
