You captured my heart awhile ago, 
but then you decided to let it go. 
It kept on beating
in spite of our split. 
I never stopped loving you,
not even for a bit.
As time went by,
you were always on my mind.
I often wondered 
if we'd meet again in time.

without any warning,
I woke up to words
