A God By Any Other Name

We come bursting through your bodies, rape your helpless soul,
Transform into a creature merciless and cold,
We force you to kill your brother, eat his blood and brain,
Shredding flesh, sucking bone, till everyone’s insane,
We are the savage virus that infects your heart and mind,
Slay and slaughtering till there’s nothing left to find,
We torture your almighty god, force him to become your enemy,
Leaving him with bitterness, hatred and insanity,
We disappear into the darkness just as quickly as we came,
Sending your soul to hell with impurity and shame,
We are the almighty rulers of your feeble domain,  
Oppressing the weak, bringing fear and disdain,  
We wash away your history, turn your culture to dust,  
Ravaging your values, leaving your morals with disgust,  
We are the force behind all that is evil, all things perverse,
Turning heaven to hell, hell to heaven, realms in reverse,  
We glorify the wicked, turning every wrong into every right,  
Guiding you like immoral puppets to our utter delight,  
We tug on your strings, making you dance and twist,  
The meister's of reality, the only reason you exist,  
We are the orchestrators of war, massacre and genocide,  
Spreading our faith upon this earth like a pesticide,  
We are the many, the few, the thing that's inside of you,  
Growing, thriving, driving and striving to break through,  
We are the seed of it all, the very beginning, a feeling,  
We are Love, the idea you humans find so appealing.
