Admit I'm Omitted
You push away and then ask. “Will you stay?”
As long as everyone fits nicely right in place
Round and round the maze you crafted
Writing on the walls inside my head
Make me feel a worthless bastard
Walking about the halls blinded by dread
Stalking light in hope, in awe
For what may lie in store
She turned to face me, eyes a dream
She said “Take me out of this shitty place”
Smiling and crying, just holding me tight
We sat wondering why, we sat through the night
Putrid people I’d like to see hung from steeples
Impeach any ingeniousness of belief
They were all sheep before I found the beauty
Of tricking the mind to help my demons sleep
Of course I needed plenty of help
From a couple old lifeless friends
A cup cold and strong without an end
My inception skeptical
This inertia omnipresent
Vulture me like a skeleton
Lost deep in the desert
As long as everyone fits nicely right in place
Round and round the maze you crafted
Writing on the walls inside my head
Make me feel a worthless bastard
Walking about the halls blinded by dread
Stalking light in hope, in awe
For what may lie in store
She turned to face me, eyes a dream
She said “Take me out of this shitty place”
Smiling and crying, just holding me tight
We sat wondering why, we sat through the night
Putrid people I’d like to see hung from steeples
Impeach any ingeniousness of belief
They were all sheep before I found the beauty
Of tricking the mind to help my demons sleep
Of course I needed plenty of help
From a couple old lifeless friends
A cup cold and strong without an end

Vulture me like a skeleton
Lost deep in the desert
