The Love
Over two years had passed since we were parted,
but all it took was a second for me to look at you and I was right back to where I started.
I tried to move on but it was something that I could not do,
to give my heart to another man when it has always belonged to you.
There must be a reason why I cannot forget you,
why I can't move on, hate or regret you.
And there must be a reason when I look into your eyes,
I feel a love that once kindled never dies.
