What Looks Out
Look! There she is again
Always staring through the windows of that broken house
Why does she stare? How come she never comes out?
She is Other
The same as any other person
But
Different
The events of her life have deprived her of the knowledge to live
She remembers not the freedom of Unburdened Innocence
Yet the clock continues to run
She exists Trapped
Unable
To
Break Free
Pleading for anyone to come and release her
She cries tears that could fill caverns
Carries secrets that could destroy
Screaming silent whispers for help that won't come
