You say I'm insane, but I get signs from the future
You're blind in a stupor, I'm defined as a trooper

Visions in my mind give me targets and hit lists
A market for misfits taken in harvested instants
You say I'm the killer, but what's realer is prevention
The hunt, the kill, up front, the thrilling apprehension
The shot, the hit, a lot of it is done in passion
Unleash the inner chase and see what fun can happen
Do not judge me, because it's for the greater good
You don't understand now but you later could
I swear, each target is given through a time machine
I'd show you now but it's impossible to find the thing
They read their lists and tell me when the killing's due
It's men and women, sometimes it's children too
It's chilling true, but ignorant fools ignore the truth
I've left behind clues to follow for the sleuth
I prevent dictators, haters of justice and rights
Those evil men who think they've crushed us at nights
They never live, I slay them before they even breathe
And I alone perpetuate the safety we believe
So while you lay contented in a material slumber
