Fiddle Faddle

Wasting life, fiddle faddle
Nothing came from nothing
Pockets bare, mind, a blank stare
While my teeth still rattle

Broken groan, turn and change
The lights above mean nothing
Time will go, and don’t you know
How to be deranged

Skip a step, frenzied fools
All walking towards nothing
Can’t find their place, saving face
Hoping for renewal

Last lines lie, fiddle faddle
Nothing still comes from nothing
Our eyes burn, we don’t learn
Stupidity’s half the battle
