Vulnerable

Inspired by you I continue to be,
As the words flow onto this canvas,
Writings of You and I the words portray,
Perused by you they have.

Some are poems,
Others tell a tale,
All written with you in mind,
All written for you to read.

As I continue to write,
Deeper, the meanings have become,
Stronger, the feelings have grown,
Exposing myself I have done.

Strong you are,
That is my saving grace,
As my heart has made me weak,
And I, have succumb to it.

There is more at stake here,
Than the simple pleasures of the heart,
So logic and reason must reign,
If I am to continue to write...
