Justifiable Shooting

It seems so repulsive to unknowing eyes,
So evil and vile, to do it's to die.
So many have died so young in their time,
Invincible giants with ignorant stride.
But truth is It's Godly, intended to heal,
And sometimes to take all the Pain is to kill.
It's not a destroyer of life, just of Pain,
The Man is to blame for his own dismay.
It gives such a love no person can show,
And makes this world seem like it's still got some hope.
Judge not the Fallen and how their Pain recedes,
Who are you to say what they do or do not need?
They know just what they do and what it does,
And trust me when I say that most don't do it just because.
You don't know a persons Pain so don't assume it fake,
The fact it's in their head doesn't mean it isn't great.
Get to know a Fallen Soul and how they fell,
I bet instead of ridicule you'd only want to help.
But maybe I'm completely wrong, I've been before.
Maybe we're not healing Pain just making more?
Maybe I'm just a junkie trying so damn hard,
To justify shooting up dope and leaving myself dead and scarred.
