Burning Fate
My love was yours so long ago,
but you never knew..
I hid my feelings and buried my pride,
I had to let you go..
Years passed and you were gone,
but you still crossed my mind..
The precious memories we'd made,
in my heart, still shined..
Never had I dreamed you would come back for me someday..
Taking all the pain and hurt that others gave me, away..
This love of ours has taken me totally by surprise,
I saw your face and the love I'd hidden, shown clearly through my eyes..
Our special past,
we both began to reminisce..
Our fire rekindled,
A love still burning..
Confirmed by just one kiss.
