Disappointment

Disappointment, like change, is inevitable.
Not all can be picture perfect, Kodak.
We are let down, we let down, down we go, we spiral.
Emotions take over, control is how we deal with them.
No matter how big or how small, disappointment is one.
One that affects us, good or bad, usually the latter, you can choose to deal.
Deal with the circumstances, the most crucial part.
How shall it affect, how do you let it play out?

Does it really spiral down a staircase of no end or its a mere jump to touch the floor and get back up?
Maybe I'm making too much out such a simple word, what harm could it really bring?
Oh, how dare i go there? What harm i say?
If not the sorry excuse for passion killing, violence and breaking of hearts, how can hurt not be inevitable?
Surely it is not as simple as i want it to be.
But I do not excuse the actions, for we are able to choose,
to choose the affect and if not, to choose the action thereafter.

With this i question those who put it out there,
their quest to destroy with the simplicity of a word, disappointment.
Aren't thou heartless to let one endure such pain?
Why lead them on if you don't intend of fulfilling, forth keeping and satisfying what must have been agreed on?
Must we all really follow through in it's way?
Can't we avoid it or get around it?
I don't think so.
But how it affects us, we control.

Finally i can say, how am i to deal with it,
without the hurt, without the pain, i have the cure.
But before i can reveal it, i must say,
i'm too disappointed to tell.
