mmm...girl look at you
god must have spent an extra day or two
gettin things just right
cuz you look like you've been touched by the holy light
you were made in his image
makin people beg for forgiveness
oh
girl when you smile like that
and bat them big brown eyes
you say jump
and people say how high
but you cant hide
that wild streak
you got inside
you're good at playin it off with everyone you meet
but they aint me
they all may think you're heaven sent
but baby i know you just aint that innocent

Run From My Gun
well i came home early to surprise her
had flowers and a bottle of wine
was gonna she her she'd been on my mind
but there was a truck i didnt recognize
sittin in our drive
well i rushed up stairs
pistole in my hand
i was gonna shoot him dead
two shots to the head
hoss you better start runnin
cuz i aint afraid to use this gun
i'll end it all right now
i looked him in the eye
i could see the fear
as that barrel got near
i wasnt thinking straight
i didnt hesitate
as i cocked that hammer back
he didnt even have enough...

you ever been so drunk you got your ass whooped by a tree
ya'll its not my fault
you should have seen the way it was lookin at me

scared me half to death

yeah i may have done some stupid things
but
i've sure got some stories to tell
lookin back
they were funny as hell
yeah i got a lot of scars
but there is a lesson behind everyone
i aint slowin down
livin like a bullet shot from a gun

than be safe
