terracotta skin, so beautiful and fragile
sunlight between the cracks is floating in
bask in the beams, warmth at the seams
preserve, terracotta skin
nurture what dwells within
observe, everlasting mortal sin

Flesh
Split the flesh from the bone
Spilling blood, regret sown
Crimson red, it's now cold
To live life is so bold
Write me a lullaby to sing myself to sleep
Who would have known loosing you would cut so deep
Sever all ties from me, see what lies past our dreams
Float across time and space
Return to me when you find a new reality
But alas there is nothing past mortality
So you split the flesh
You love the sting when it's fresh
The stench of death
As you take a breath
You're coming down but you want to feel...

Your lies fall onto deaf ears tonight
False sense of security “are you alright”
“Not quite, but it’s fine”
my pain is such a sight but it’s mine
but might be too much for you
what the hell is a man left to do
because if I let my pride drop I’m a failure too
How am I supposed to be the one to better you
if I can never get better too
That’s why we feed on each other,
every mumble and stutter
trying desperately to crawl out of the gutter

For you
Tonight the starlight burns so bright and on the tip of my tongue dies the last that we'll ever speak again
forever seems so long but in time it won't be far enough to rid this growing dread building with my thoughts
All I ask is that you leave me here in my own cavalcade of rot, through my bones it sets in and kills me off
Into death I sink away and
I've left my soul for you to keep and burry inside your heart. on my deathbed I lay, dying breaths I take I confess my love for you.
for when we meet again I'll take your hand in mine and we shall dance among the clouds...

May I die inside your arms tonight, the pressure builds into deadly nights
I cannot sleep without your pleasant voice in my desperate reach
I feel this weight as if it's drowning me and underneath our sheets is where our demons sleep, within our skin is where they love to creep and oh how they watch you weep

Ouroboros
Is the circle of death, the gift of life
Ouroboros
Is the burden of life, the freedom of death
If the moonlight starts to die, the sunlight fades away
Dark is all that is left until we start another day
The glowing stars at night, the cosmic maps that they display

Twinge
Bright red lips tingle with the twinge
Because sour is the taste of you my dearest friend
I am afraid that as the clock of time ticks it's hands do not move
This cacophony of hate, pain and shame married in my brian
This is surely my unrelenting curse as the vile liquid burns down my throat, it deludes all my senses and all I see is vertigo, all my limbs are numb and I begin to feel invisible
Everything sways, this room is such a daze
Oh I'm slamming down the poison cause it helps me feel ok
Creeping down my throat and flowing through my veins
Bright...

Embers falling from the sun burn into my tongue as passages of rage begin to consume me, guiding the fire, ignorance ignites me pleading the lie
I'll show you my anger as it burns down our walls, you told me when we built them that they would last forever

Behind blind eyes
Behind blind eyes I see the light
Where no man dares to walk, amongst the angels as they sing and as they dance
Behind blind eyes I see the light,
No more suffering in sight
Come wash away all of your sin in the acid rains heading in
Your skin peeling back, your blood running thin and drowning out your voice
There's nothing left inside this void
I'll let you say goodbye
Behind blind eyes you'll see the light and your soul will realign
These fingertips are cold and stale as they hold you in your fear
Consciousness is ripped from your thoughts...

I will nurture you, care for you, protect you, and watch you bloom, embrace your symphonic wailing cries that cater towards my utter demise
Swallowed in the sun, this heat now blisters as your thorns tear my skin and the puss fills the wound
Your hypnotic pedals are now in bloom, the spores are infectious and the scent induces disease as your stem wraps around tightly and grows in the garden
The garden of intimacy that I've made, with you as the centerpiece
My life decays, stuck in this Odyssey that I must obey, slaving to preserve the beautiful aura that you give away, it...

The grit of the paper feels just like your skin rubbing against me
I'm bleeding again, Absorbing it's venom, hallucinogen
Contorting and extorting, exhorting through thin pale skin, my head is numb, my conscience devoid amid this terrifying run in with you my friend (feind) against cold steel, a world opens up to things surreal
No sun,
Deaf ears,
Vacant eyes,
Silent cries,
Slipping under the undertow of heavy colors and sinking skies,
Such is this ordeal,
Sprouting into misery and flowering foundations of empty symphonies of mindless pleasure, ...
