In the skies...
An outstretched arm,
My wretched smile,
This boarded up soul,
You couldn't pass,
Should you of stopped and asked?
My despair, mine alone,
Too much for me,
I admit it, "I know"
Sorry I told you to go.
No warmth, deprived of love,
Truth escaped, my heart did break,
Though it didn't show,
How were you to know?
Don't worry now,
It's much too late,
I cannot burden you with this,
For it's much to great.
I'm waiting in the promiseland,
There you'll find me,
Just me alone,
Halo intact,...

A poem for children with autism, autism spectrum disorders, and RETT syndrome.
Everlasting love,
Need not be spoken in words,
For we all know how loving you are,
Even though you cannot be heard,
I know when you are happy,
And when you feel distressed,
But when you smile I know,
That I can leave out all the rest,
I know you miss me when im away,
And that treats make you happy,
I know that everyday is a new day,
And that everlasting love will stay,
For I feel the things you cannot say.

Loved and lost
Each night another tortured dream,
But I know you can't see me,
Another painstaking morning,
But I know you don't want me,
A blissful afternoon,
Happy until I see you,
Knowing this is what i'll never have,
Sinking helplessly, I can't be grabbed,
For this life of mine,
Isn't better without you,
But it's better to of loved and lost,
Than never to of had...
But I know you can't see me,

The truth...
Tonight I shelter under the street lights,
They buzz and flicker and represent why I can't sleep tonight,
Unwanted within the life I was living,
Not needed in the ways I wanted to be,
I cannot shield myself,
Or distort the truth bearing down on me.
I wish you could come back for me,
Rescue me before it's too late,
But I know your gone,
My dearest possession,
The love in my heart,
The light in my eyes,
The spring in my step,
And now your just a war in my mind,
I'll never win,
Because your not coming back.

Good Together...
Without you,
I dream,
Of a different life,
A life of passion,
Without input,
From the outside world,
But I am just a dreamer,

To those who judge on DU...
Interpret my writing how you will,
I am only here to share it.
I'm not here to please the critics,
As im not as qualified as most.
I express my point of view in my own way,
And my feelings without going into detail.
This isn't poetry as such,
It's me telling DU how I see things.
I take a simplistic approach to writing.
I get my point across.
Without every little detail.
Some appreciate this,
Others hate,
But if you are so much better,
Then focus on your own writing.
This is an outlet for many, ...

Beautiful Soul....
Behind this mask,
Reveals me to you,
With it my dark past,
I am scared and bruised in any mirror,
But shattered and destroyed in my soul,
I can't allow to let myself close to you,
In fear of hurting you aswell,
As I could take away your happiness,
Until you see no good in life,
I can't let you become like me,
Lonely and dismissed,
A misfit in society,
No good intentions,
My sun no longer shines,
And ours will set now,
As I won't drag you down with me,
Your much to precious to me,
So run while you still can,
You've already...
Reveals me to you,
With it my dark past,

Take me away...
Take me away,
To a quiet place,
Where I can rest in peace,
And admit defeat with grace.
Bring me close to you,
Into a soft embrace,
So I can kiss you softly,
Before tears form my face.
Hide me away from others,
They do not wish to see me now,
I will not be returning,
This my solum vowel.
I can't change what you've done,
With your decision made,
And now I end this,
But what a game we played.
Visit me from time to time,
Now that I am gone,
Remember all the memories,
That made two halves one.
To a quiet place,
Where I can rest in peace,

The trigger was just waiting...
I can’t help but feel the pain,
Losing you came at a cost,
Trying to put myself back together,
A game I’ve nearly lost.
Thinking about you today,
Brought it all back,
Endless depression,
Someone end this attack.
Lonely, almost alone
But this is what I want,
I can’t let you see,
What I’ve now become.
Deprived of love,
Nowhere to turn,
I chased everyone away,
When I lost you.
I can’t face the truth,
Living in the past,
Is my lifeline,
For now atleast.
My heart still beats,
Although...
Losing you came at a cost,
Trying to put myself back together,

I choose you....
Nights without you,
Bring me to my knees,
A weakness sustained,
Please come back,
So it will ease,
Days without you near,
I listen incase,
Out of all the noises heard,
One might be you,
