i'm new to writing my poetry down, so i hope people like what i feel.

You Promised . . .
you promised
that you'll treat me right
yet you become upset & wont talk to me
when i wasnt the cause
you promised
to trust me
but you believe i am fooling around
when you are the only one within my thoughts
you promised
that we'll be together for a long time
but on the third day you cut me off
so here's a promise that i'll make
& for sure to keep
i promise to no longer believe in you.
for you to hurt me no more.
you were the child
i was the adult
sad that im 16
& you are 18
funny how you thought...
that you'll treat me right

My First Love Lost
i am now broken
in to millions of pieces
i was blind
did not wanted to see the truth
the truth
that you loved me
loved me
no longer loves me
you shall soon love another
but i will hate every minute of it
watching you
kiss her tenderly
as you use to
with me
hug her as tight to make her
feel warm & safe
no longer me
feeling the safety or warmth of it all
you say we will be friends
but i know deep down
you will forget me
as the rest of the past
we had an amazing time ...

Happiness is our Paradise
Happiness seems
like a good paradise
to escape
the world
the pain
that brings upon
the tears
we shed
to water
the plants
everyday
dawn till dusk
rest the souls
that lay a sleep
within the dirt
we step each day
to witness a better
tomorrow
from today
wonder what awaits for us
a new dream
to control
the night terrors
that frighten
any living soul
awake
wide awake
no more fear
we will stay at peace
happiness
is all we crave
&...

Judgement
do not say you love me
if you hate my guts
do not say that you are
my friend
if you do not know me
instead tell me how you
really feel about me
how you dislike what i do with my life
& how i should be a shame of
what's to become of me
you should try to get to know me
learn my story
walk in my shoes
& see the pain
i go through
after you did
then tell me
how you really feel
about my so called life ?
if you hate my guts

Your Little Secret
i will not hide behind closed doors
& be known as your little secret
i shall not be silences
you should not be afraid to be with me
i am human
not a monster
i would like for you to see that
i'm not all that bad to be with
that i want you
to be mine
& for me to be yours
is that so much ?
i do not want to dream about us
i would like us to become one
& live to see how beautiful our love could be. . .
sadly my reality is not allowing me to live in my fantasy
because at the end
my mind knows we will never...
& be known as your little secret
i shall not be silences

you said to yourself
you should've
could've
but didnt think of
the problems that came within
the fantasy
you wanted that fantasy
to be the reality
saying to yourself keep me
& please hold me
tight & never let go
sadly it's only a dream
a daydream
that fades away
every moment
any chance you missed out
on telling the one
you wanted them

in your life
to bring back the light that was once in your eyes
