I left on the sun
So early next day
She wouldn't move on
Yet I had nothing else to say
She blinded me with roses
And drug me back down
How could I resist

I climbed to the sun
So late in the night

On a porch a man stands
Time and time again
The grass is always green
Greener than he can see
Deep inside his mind he finds
The past that was left behind
This house that he stays
Held his wife and his kids
Time and time again
The room this man sits in
Is because he can't admit
The padding gets old
His story left untold
The yellow makes him mellow

But he won't remember
Just wakes up and resets
