to reveal myself to you
an honest portrait
without anything hidden
lines of aging
you hold the secrets of my flaws
skin denied of perfection
yet you see the flawed beauty inside
the tiger growling howling scratching to hide
this beauteous moment
when we fell in to like
capturing our thoughts

falling for your intangibile soul
this dangerous curve your smile takes me on
angry eyes good intent
inside my mind churning butterflies
my happy thoughts you bent
I'm telling myself not to like you
or realize how much I'm starting to care
don't wanna rely on you for my good feelings
what if you let me down
crush my positive vibe
wanna believe in my mixed up fantasy of you
this wonderful dream of the hero you are

Enlightment of the Night
Such a raw fuck
not like the ones she had known before
He cradles her body as if he knew she would break
capable of never being damaged
restless her body yearns for the heat of his iniquitous touch
she wants to think his sweat will be the enlightenment of the night
He uses every ounce of his purpose just right
wet and wanted this filthy girl begs for his twisted being of hatred thoughts
towards her leftover remains.....

Isn't it so obvious the reason why you came
Use somebody like me to free your thoughts
the realm of your freedom beyond the limit
so blind was I to never see that you really never needed me
I was the fool to let you in with your sick guiltless eyes
those eyes devour my soul piece by piece
you warned me to stay away
and never to play so close to your flame
my skin feels so warm next to your fire
but walking away I feel the stench of defeat burning my skin
playing this sick game that makes you smile
and knowing the outcome all the while

Smoke and Mirrors
Commanding attention from every angle
its his stage smoke and rock n roll
his niche in this world
carve a tiny circle so he can peer through at his reflection
with this narrow opening and all that foam
hes stuck inside this blind ambition to be all he can
to rise against his sick sad world
pain stares at him daring him to laugh at the moments he wasted
wanting to eat him alive
what he doesn't realize
each piece of him etched into stone

the time of your arrival
you sullenly did say
you swore to be my only
and know your feelings do sway
I whisper the truth in your ear like a child
and you just politely laugh off in the distance awhile
I can't play with your emotions anymore its not right
and every time I kiss your lips and hold you we just fight
so tell me tomorrow you will rescue my inner thoughts and dreams
and make our live better than what it seems
cause i need a favor
and this is my plea
to never stop loving you if you never stop loving me

and with it the gift of gratitude breathing
your neck and my whisper away from the day's last moment
I wait for you
but you may never return
the favor
and so I wait
will you come back and fly into my arms with trepidation
and resign your selfish act for another day
Embrace the moment we have for it shall be our last
your lips like timeless clocks speaking my melody
and rhyme
and you never can find the time
to be honest of your guiltless words
