Tears on my cheek
Surrounded by grief, broken by regret.
For the mistakes that I've made have cost me my happiness.
Now I live my life with a permanent tear on my cheek,
knowing all that I want is now out of my reach.
Now I see the one that I love has given up on me.
All the wishes in the world and all the hope in my heart i'sn't enough to repair what I broke or heal what I scarred.
Now all that is left, is this pain in my chest that reminds me daily of the life that I wrecked

Shadows
Living in the shadows of my deepest desires has relinquished me to a fraction of myself
Deep inside I can still feel the man I once was yearning for help
No matter how lost I think I am I know there is still hope
For the shadows that hide my desires are evidence that I can still have what I desire most

Cynical love
If I gave you love, then would you cherish us, would it make a difference or would you be the same old girl always trying to ruin me
If I acted differently, i Mean more sensibly, if I admired you instead of trying to drive you into killing me then could we be taken more seriously
Could we stop the fight and lies the lonely nights and times and practice more sensitivity
I never meant to be the one who viewed love so cynically but I must admit I kind of like it when you're pissed at me,so sometimes I do that shit intentionally
Yet it still remains I...

believe in me
All I've ever wanted was for someone to believe in me instead they all ended up leaving me my friends my ladies even some of my family I've never wanted anyone grieving me nor do I need anyone's sympathy it was true I was in a place I didn't. need to be where I needed to be is with my son he's the only one who needed me I was in a place I never planned to be yet it became my reality born and bread in poverty honestly what more did u expect from me let me guess to rise above and prevail my destiny since I haven't now everyone seems to think less of me BT u just wait watch and see I'll overcome...

DREAM ON
Late at night,when the day fades away some tend to dream
The thoughts of the day that that were forced to be ignored resurface with a demanding esteem
They scream hear, see, aspire to be
I am ambition, acknowledge me
But in life, sacrifices are sometimes made
Especially, when there's a mother with a son and she has another on the way
When struggles become reality and reality becomes fate
She doesn't hide she doesn't stray
She doesn't run, she remains determined and waits for her blessings to come
Some wonder what's it like living life...
