I wake to find another day
Scared of the spirits that come to play
The little whispers that stray
Towards me as they delay

They whisper of their rules
Sounding like a bunch of fools

They can`t be here or their
They tell me to be fair

Not a shadow on my wall
Standing ten feet tall

Not a crow at my window sill
Trying to catch my attention still

Not a monster under my bed
For me to dread

Yet around me they swarm
As they whisper without form
Creating quite the storm
As I watch them perform
...

I wonder now on the word
Another`s faith I have stirred
So with emotions my thoughts blur
I can feel my soul stir

There was a time I joined my voice
Yes, with the others I did rejoice
I was just me, so young and free
I had faith in what I couldn`t see

Then one day my whole world changed
My whole life was rearranged
It started with just a little whisper
Then my conscious got crisper

I say it was a spirit that i heard
But who would believe my word
So for year`s I didn`t tell a soul
That with the spirit`s I stroll
