Days long past linger in the gloom of yesterdays.
trying to focus on what was and forget what will never be,
dredging a soul empty of answers,
nights obsessing why it has come to this,
like a shadow that grows in the dark
I teeter on the edge of the night
as shadows consume me in fright ....

Empty
Needing to find solace from a disturbed delirium ,
peace from a madness of emotion that's taken over,shattering the
reality around me.torn not knowing why it consumes my very minutes,
nights spent in the shadows wondering how to end this turmoil within.down this path once more.
reasons stuck in the misery,answers haunting me,desolate,destitude
drowning in the void..

A journey alone we must travel within our confines of maturity laden emotion..
twist of faith how humanity intervenes the serene lifestyle we
so desperately seek..
mental fortitude needed to withstand the torrent of unpleasantries
we come to bear..
fighting temptation to surrender to the failures,,an aversion to what man has become..
alone we must grow , give back,teach,deny and purge the darkness
that slowly consumes..
our time is short,waste not on trivial pursuits,be humbled ,virtuous
and thankful that you LIVE

Recollections of dark past come forth out of drunken nights spent
trying to forget the things that forge an angry demeanor.
attention wandering off into dark visions,shadowed memories of forgotten time.
a past that resonates loudly into a drone clouded present, mere
moments twisted into a convoluted , distorted time fog.
festering emotions,chasms deep torment,shadowed reflections slowly
filling an abyss of pain and misery, mirrored in the cold dark places of the soul..
dreams desolate of reality, empty thoughts, fear of demise and the
unknown...

DISTANT
Rain drops soothing the warm haze of summer,
cool breeze swirls as the trees dance to a melody of life.
winds strong, pushing at curtains hung out to dry,
enter the house of memory,stirring up echoes of the past.
thunder from far away places drown out the drone and monotony
of living,stale air of complacency driven away.
the rain washes away,cleansing the bitter earth,a new beginning
the storm slowly passes,vanishing like dreams
one can't remember..

Emotion filled chaos,agony stricken turmoil
drives the madness within.
tormented as to why the reason,can't let go.
this war,can not win,struggle for clarity but drowning in thought.
too scared,stuck in the loop,forever these dark feelings controlling the pain derived misery.
haunting recollections of former self,wounds that never heal.
see no remedy or origin found yet burns from inside not sure I
know why.
a façade of happy, mere illusions blinding others from the truth.
spiraling downward,churning the soul back into the shadows,
feelings extinguished...
drives the madness within.

Eyes like fire inspire desire.
fierce her eyes that glimmer in any light,
eyes that shine clear and bright like an
ocean shimmering from sunlight.
eyes that sparkle like diamonds glitter,
enticing like moonlight.
fiery their beauty and lustrous their shine,
brighten up the night like starlight,so right.
drawn into the mystery and lost in the
glistening is me.
unique in their delight I do not fight..

Splintered memories,fractured recollections looming up out of the lost time fog.
head trapped within the shadows of torment,shrouded in a madness that made no sense at all.
a mist of terrible thoughts,clouded anger,spite,like venom killing what's left inside.
the threat of physical and mental damage so very real to me now,
my peace about to be shattered..
chasms deep dark emotions twisting me about,unclear and obscured my path and direction.
visions within the fog,horrid,empty shadows speak to me of cold broken trust and betrayal,of things that weigh me down and...
