Sorry I haven't been on in so long, working through some stuff. but i'm back! I write because I love writing, because my songs are who I am. one day I hope to inspire people with them. I'm shy but if you get to know me I'm really quite funny.

I was crumbling down without making a sound
about two steps from the edge of too far gone now
calling and crying and screaming out names
to only hear echoes and whispers full of shame
so lost in doubt trying to figure it out
but that was then, haven't fallen since
yes I've stumbled, but I'm stronger than I've been
That was before, long before, I met you
when I didn't have a hero, didn't even have a clue
thought the world was broken, it's been made new
I had lost sight of seeing in a different light
searching for a peace treaty for the wrong...

Chance To Take
When I turn my face to the rising sun
they tell me to look away or I will burn
but I love the glow as it comes over the hills
and they say it isn't worth chasing the horizon
cause the edge will only get farther away
but I take my stand and I'm running
for something, just trying to find my place
I swear I won't shed a tear for what has passed
already been down such a road, had enough of that
there's so much more promised beyond what I can see
so i look not with my eyes but my heart, and i believe
in hope, in dreams, in the simplest beauty that...

This Dream
oh, not sure I ended up here
looking down on the scene, but there I am too
this can't be reality, I see so clearly
room of tears, hushed tones, and whispered fears
somebody tell me what's going on
I'm right beside you, but invisible
it's impossible, stuck in transition
between there and gone, something went wrong
What is this dream and what does it mean?
I can't interpret the meaning accurately, I
just want to know, oh, just need to be free
trapped in a revolving door of misery
reaching out and trying to scream
but my touch is unfelt...

Be Just Fine
the hallways echo coldly like the chill of changing seasons
holding the memories of what I once believed in
you'll never hear me cry, never see hate in my eyes
it's all alright, I know things happen in life
people sometimes give up, choose to leave and yeah, it sucks
but there's a reason for everything that happens
someday I know you'll come back for me
and I called your name but never got an answer
started thinking bout how you promised forever
and it hurts too much, so i wear your old sweater
you left it here, saying you didn't want to remember...

Grafitti
The ashes settle in my lungs, I feel the remnants burn
clouding up my vision, once this was everything I knew
don't know how I could be so darn naive
I let my timid heart run free, like I didn't have to worry
but that's another story for a different pain
I'm tearing down the last wall, it's going up in smoke
watching the chemicals drift into the overcast sky
I finally know what I'm facing, scoped your defenses
found the weak link and snapped it just for fun

stop breaking your dreams just to be perfect

Abstract
I can't say what I'm looking at, no, it'll take some time
to figure out just what the stars are glowing for tonight
every wisp of hope drifts silent on the wind
takes me from this world just to bring me back again
I must admit, I don't mind escaping, even if only for a little bit
Colors in our hearts blend under pressure
beneath the finishing touches is a resting place
it's never really been explainable, just understood
somehow love remains though it never said it would
and others looking from afar might see a different dream
if eyes happen to be...

Oh the way that things are going lately
has been weighing on your heart so heavy
but don't forget, and be reminded
that I'll stay by you until you rest easy
today, today, today is not the day
you will not, you will not run away
take a chance and hold onto patience
you can find your way through this
but today, today, today is not goodbye
you've got so much left, don't give up this fight
oh today, is not the end of the world
somehow, I'll make sure you make it to tomorrow
