Do You Think of Me
I remember me and you standing outside of your room in the silence of the night
It was warm but I was cool so I held onto you as we mapped out the sky
And now I’m standing here remembering how you disappeared and I can’t help but wonder
When you look up at the North Star, do you think of me?
When you're driving in your car, do you think of me?
When you hear all of the songs that we used to sing along to when we were together
Does it make you see all those memories?
I remember every drive we were riding side by side as we worked out...

Work of Art
You’ve said that I'm a work of art
But never did you see
That every single bit of you
Is all that I could need
Your sun kissed skin I loved to taste
A drug I'll always choose
Forever I’ll appreciate
The picture that is you
Your wit and your intelligence
There’s beauty when you speak
You’ve overcome such great misfortunes
Anything but weak
Your molten liquid golden eyes
In which I'd love to drown
I even miss the vision of
A furrow in your brow
So deeply do you think and feel ...
But never did you see
That every single bit of you
Is all that I could need

Crying
My baby's crying’s constant
With heavy screaming too
And soothing her is difficult
Since I'm still missing you
You say that this was for the best
If you could only see
I'm crying with my baby
While you're not here for me
Swinging face down in your arms
I miss that way you'd hold her
I wish that you’d have stayed with me
To watch as she grows older
But here we cry still without you
Both making quite a fuss
Since I can't soothe my baby
As I'm still mourning us
With heavy screaming too
And soothing her is difficult
Since I'm still missing you
