Work of Art

You’ve said that I'm a work of art
But never did you see
That every single bit of you
Is all that I could need

Your sun kissed skin I loved to taste
A drug I'll always choose
Forever I’ll appreciate
The picture that is you

Your wit and your intelligence
There’s beauty when you speak
You’ve overcome such great misfortunes
Anything but weak

Your molten liquid golden eyes
In which I'd love to drown
I even miss the vision of
A furrow in your brow

So deeply do you think and feel
Such passion to be kind
There are few things more lovely
Than your patient caring mind

The sweeping lines of your physique
So slender with such curve
I wish that you’d have stayed with me
That I could share such words

So much more than mere visuals
Still loving fun and smart
Yes every single bit of you
A perfect work of art
