Second chance
Second chance
Here we are, back again.
face to face, since way back when.
It's deja vu when i'm with you.
I can't believe it's like a dream come
true,
but girl you should know.
That my feelings for you baby ain't
never changed.
It blows my mind every time
somebody mentions
your name.
Yet all this time I was out there
dealing with this pain,
all the while you were out there baby
feeling the same.
So where do we go from here?
Times have changed and so have we
over the years.
Yes I know we have our fears, but...
Here we are, back again.

What is it all worth to stand upon earth
Just to look up in the sky and wonder why?
Am I here to fight the want and survive
On what I need
When temptation continues to haunt
a soul that cries out and plead. Oh holy! Oh holy!
I bow in your glory!
Please forgive me for all l have done.
I see the bumps coming and I keep on running
But every now and then I trip over one. I know you are faithful even when l have failed,
And that is why l forever hail and you are forever hailed.
Long live king Jesus.

God is with us.

let light receed the darkness in your heart
Let light receed the darkness in your heart.
People don't despair, because no one is there.
When in fact, one is everywhere.
He is the light that chases your demons away.
He'll never abandon you when everyone else couldn't
Stay.
You say l hate me, but he says l love you.
Just reach out for me and I'll reach out too.
You fatten yourself up with the guilt and pain to which your soul bears the stain.

l declare to the Lord.
I will remain within the light
Battling temptation is a brutal fight
The holy ghost protects me as my shield,
And the word from the Lord is the sword I wield.
So step into the light dear child.
You no longer have to run wild.
Because he is here to bring you home
Within the darkness you no longer have to roam.
Now I say upon the Lord.
I lay down my life for you
It's the least that l can do
For everything you've done for me
For you're the only one who can
Take this wretched soul of a man
And lift it up to where you be"

Yes I know what you've been told,
but my love for you will never grow old.
Some people hate me.
There are those who will try to debate me,
but if you want to believe in me
then prepare to be called crazy.
'Cause I'm the man who's here to take you higher.

Dare to bear the cross
Dare to bear the cross and break the chains of sin
then ascend, brethren.
For death is not the end,
but indeed it is where true life begins.
I say this for the Lord speaks to me,
and through me to you.
For he exists to be
as the sky exists to be blue.
So hear me,
but don't fear me
for my words are not leery.
My words are meant for the fallen
whose sins have become weary.
Like you l was bound until he set me free.
For my cross was confessed
to he who will forever be.
Our savior Jesus Christ, amen.

Lonely road
Here I stand, staring at the sky with many questions, but no answers why.
Like why am I standing here all alone, forced to face these fears all on my own?
I was once told, i'd walk a lonely road, but I couldn't imagine how far this road could
truly go. But here I am, i'm still a walking man. I'm still walking man, through
this uncharted land.
Well I guess it's true what they say that this is not paradise.
Who am I to argue, I gotta take what I can take. Even though I
thought to end it all, I even thought about it twice, but I came
so far...

I sunbathed on the surface of mercury.
I windsailed on the sand dunes of mars.
I gazed upon venus and from my memory.
It was the most lovely by far, but that

notice how beautiful was your blue,
and that's all it was worth.

A soldier's sorrow
I looked out across the land
and saw all my comrades falling down.
Bodies of wounded and dead for I can
see were miles around, so I took a breath,
then I took a step with my rifle on my side,
then I charged into battle with fear in my
heart 'cause I knew it was time to die.
And just the other week I saw my baby girl.
She pleaded me not to leave, but I had to
save the world.
So I looked upon her face
and smiled as a tear ran down my cheek
o'my little baby Angela who I only saw last week.
Now it's months and months within the...
