She is broken in all the right places,
Lies to herself in all the wrong ways,
She brings soft light to my dark nights,
Clouds of blackness into my days,

Adorn with the halo of angels,
Held up with the horns of demons,
She is stubborn in all the wrong places,
She is wrong for all the right reasons,

She’s lost in all the wrong nightmares,
Can’t find the way back into her own dreams,
The madness is now setting in,
Mind and body tearing at the seams,

In attempt to ease the torment,
Her wounds are self-inflicted ...

The sun gives birth to shadows,
The night gives birth to stars,
Love gives birth to kisses,
And pain gives birth to scars,
Dreams give birth to heaven,
As nightmares give birth to hell,
My heart gives birth to secrets,
That my lips may never tell,
Smiles can tell me lies,
But tears can show what’s true,
The sun gave birth to me,
And night gave birth to you.
