POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
Poetry helps to tame those wild thoughts, giving each thought meaning, understanding and eloquence.
Awayness
For once we thought
we've lost our faces,
in the darkness
that have eclipsed us both
and left our souls broken,
sparsed,
to sublimate
or frolic with vain,
to forge wild paths
in a wayfinder's maze;
trailing the wilderness
of a lost paradise,
only to encounter fate
coming to give voice
and command our members
to lust and yearn
for one another,
like two lone lambs
under the shadow of a shepherd
we travelled miles apart
aware of nothing
but sunny memories
fast fading before our eyes ...
we've lost our faces,
in the darkness
that have eclipsed us both
and left our souls broken,
sparsed,
to sublimate
or frolic with vain,
to forge wild paths
in a wayfinder's maze;
trailing the wilderness
of a lost paradise,
only to encounter fate
coming to give voice
and command our members
to lust and yearn
for one another,
like two lone lambs
under the shadow of a shepherd
we travelled miles apart

Transition
We know the end will come
to all whose beginning are now,
and to those we see no more
we wonder the path they go.
Like trees on wings of seasons
mindless of passing climes,
we watch with stunted reasons
as dusts rob us of time.
Behind is the day of the old,
when dauntless youths grow wild
on gentle strides so bold;
Mother-earth kiss the feet of a child.
In front lies the day of the unborn
to thrust lives into the hands of history;
we become aware that life sojourns,
like the ageless...

A Monster in the guise of an Angel
With her smiles,
She found the door to my heart
And left her portrait in my soul.
With her lies,
She darkened my heart
And left my soul in ruins.
Now I glance back at her face
Just to be sure it’s her, smiling
Or a monster in the guise of an angel.
She found the door to my heart
And left her portrait in my soul.
With her lies,
She darkened my heart
And left my soul in ruins.
Now I glance back at her face
Just to be sure it’s her, smiling
Or a monster in the guise of an angel.

FORBEARANCE
When the mouth of the stream is soiled,
we all sit or stand to wait ashore.
And with our empty cans and containers,
we watch the turbid waters flow.
When the mouth of the stream is soiled,
we all stand to watch the flowing stream
as she sweeps debris mixed with red mud
till the bed of the stream meets our eyes.
When the mouth of the stream is soiled,
we can't help but stand to watch
how the sturdy stream, borne out of duty
explains time, in a healing process.

And with our empty cans and containers,

When the mouth of the stream is soiled,

Walking into Danger
A sober night lends one rubbery limbs
to trade awe in dire need of an abode,
mindless of the indescribable whim
that tireless unseen souls grace the road
at such unhealthy hour, gravely grim.
Yes, the task ahead does hold mind hostage,
to fore-go the shadows head foresee
and contemplate life in the sight of an image.
So much of a muse, senses soon disagree
then, uncertainty unveils the mirage.
At first come the disconcerted heartbeats
unsettling the quiet night with heavy steps
soon revealing gargoyle shades about the...

The Age of a Book
Undying bark of tree
that holds spoken thoughts in her colorful mirrors
bewitching eyes in timelessness.
History, her watcher
preserving insights from
Beginning till End of generations;
white birds of scholarly minds in flight
the dazzling light of minstrels beyond sky
sparkling gems
Nature's beauty
ever knowing
full of all what life and death have to say
that holds spoken thoughts in her colorful mirrors
bewitching eyes in timelessness.

When a lion loses his strength
When a lion loses his strength,
He looks up to the hilly lengths
To watch the sturdy sun as it dies,
From afar, he shakes his head and smiles;
Aware of the singing doves
And the days the reindeer loves.
The sinews of an old King
Fall short of ears at duty's wring,
To raid over a lot and reign Supreme.
Once hero of a man, now lives in a dream
Like a growing child leaning on the future,
With pages of history and collections of pictures
A memorable life, an old lion would say,
Marked with such prowess few...

A Writer's Tale
Words are immortal;
rivers flowing endlessly,
from ink to paper.
rivers flowing endlessly,

Panoramic Views
I watched a white feather fall;
a flake of silk with woolly strands,
gliding freely on a breezy wall
to rest on wherever it lands.
I watched some dark smokes climb;
some puffs from burning coals,
running wildly with windy limbs
to live with clouds in a whole.
I watched a drop of tears;
a ball of fluid with salty taste,
flowing gently from watery eyes
to express an hysterical state.
I watched a branch break off;
a squeal of cracks from a forceful pull,
jerking off with a thunderous laugh
to part from...

Warm Heart in Cold Nights

Insomnia
12 Midnight
The wailing engines grow quiet
As ghostly creatures sing loudly
The city welcomes home, the night
With weary limps resting proudly
While I stealthily trail sunlight
Already gone by moonlight
1A.M
Faint noises from afar rise and fall
They die before the faded day
As dumb shadows climb the walls
To view a still city snoring away
But in my watch, thoughts grow so tall
To unveil memories I barely recall
2 A.M
Silent winds travel across lands
To cuddle the shades with zephyr
As dews hasten to kiss the sands...

Lapis Lazuli
The time of rain comes with ease
With tears from clouds to meet my eyes
In blind nights of sleepless blitz
I watch your portrait in the skies
Like sweet scent of a morning rose
You sought my soul to bless with love
Across the seas your boat oft rows
To see my heart in a lover's cove
It takes nine suns to light your absence
About the hole I moan in cold
Your touch, your warmth fill my lone sense
That I drew emptiness closer to hold
Gaily bout is the theme of our tale
Garnered by tiffs living in our world
A posse of flowers...
With tears from clouds to meet my eyes

Like sweet scent of a morning rose
