Not my best work
I'm standing here on tired feet
The ground is so unsteady beneath me
My vision has become so blurred
My feelings are officially slurred
My body screams for peace and rest
My heart is afraid of what comes next
What do you expect me to do
When my world is only shades of blue?
I let my life be ruled by fear
I rarely shed a single tear
I feel like such a confused girl
I've become lost in my small world

You don't know me
You know my empty laugh and crooked smile
You know the encouragement i give that i wish i recieved
You know my empty words and lies
You know my false promises and prides
You know my eyes that hold a fake hope
You know the mask i wear and walls i've built
You know the clothes i have and voice i disguise

Lost my Identity
You can't hear my silent screaming
My tears betray the way i'm feeling
Hours of agony
And days of pain
Everyone thinks i've gone insane
You were a part of me
And now that you're gone, i've lost my identity
How can i love with a shattered heart?
No longer broken, just fallen apart
These 'pieces' aren't pieces, they're dust
You stole my hope, you obliterated my trust
No longer me, just an empty shell
I'll sit here and cry and pray you go to hell
No, at the same time, i just want you here
Wrap your arms around me and nibble...

Stinging, Sloppy, Free
If life is what you say it is
Then mine's a box of rain
Some drops bringing pure delight
And others bringing pain
But in the end, i'll take them all
Stinging, sloppy, free
Cuz you never know, if you give up
What joy was really meant to be

A Story
Once upon a time
In a land not far away
A dark house down the street
Where an 'emo' girl lay
With wrists slit open
She's left alone to die
Nobody listens as she whispers goodbye
With a shuttering breath
She reaches out to death
Kissing her childhood dreams goodbye
Rewind to the nights she woke up to cry
If her peers had accepted her for the girl inside
We could have prevented this terrible crime
She told herself that morning
If someone smiled her way
She'd hand onto life
For at least one more day

When it rains
And if you're life should end right now
I'll wipe your hair away from your brow
I'll kiss you long
And kiss you deep
As you enjoy your endless sleep
A single tear drips on your lips
And i wipe it away with a final kiss
I'll place black and red roses by your grave
And think about you when it rains
If you'll stay with me tonight
I'll do anything to make you alright
I'll stand up and i will fight
Or i'll sit here and hold you in the moonlight
And if you're still with me tomorrow
It'll wipe away my last trace of sorrow

I built these walls with callused hands
A scarred experience, a lonely romance
Nobody allowed inside, and nothing out
My days filled with anger, fear, and doubt
You think it was your fault
But it was those before you
I just wish you could see
The way that i liked you
I stand here lost in the maze i built
Can anybody out there figure me out?
I'm waiting to see if someone can love me
