My Girl
I don't know how to explain
This thing you do to me
I know that when i hear your voice
My heart might skip a beat
At night before i go to sleep
I pray to God and say
Thanks for giving me this girl
There's no way you can be repaid
You forgot a tiny detail though
It's just, she lives so far from me
And how am I supposed love her right
If her gorgeous eyes I can not see?
I'm sure you've got this all planned out
I'm sure it's meant to be
It might not last forever
But i'll have to wait and see
Anyways, thanks again...

Lying
Tonight I feel like crying
I'm just so sick of lying
To my friends and to myself
My life's a living hell
I hold the tears at bay
So that I have the strength to say
I'm happy, yes I'm fine
I practice all the time
You claim you know that somethings wrong
Those aren't tears, no I just yawned
Not depressed, no I'm just tired
My happiness was fired
I don't know what to do
I just can't tell the truth
I'll show off my winning smile
And be 'happy' for awhile
I'm just so sick of lying

Letting Go
I'm done, simply finished
I'm sick of my life
My one final wish
Is that i won't drop the knife
I watch the blood flow
What a beautiful crimson red
I'll finally let go
On this pillow-top bed
I loved you so much
But hell, you dont care
And i did so much!
I was always there
Through your stupid complaints

The goddamn strife
I don't know what else to do
I tried my best
So nobody would hurt
It rises in my chest
A bile made of words
I want to scream!
CAN ANYONE HEAR ME?!
This must be a dream
It's so fucking scary
I hate myself
Can stand who I've become
I'll do it myself

Listen to the rain
Do you hear what I hear?
Get rid of your pain
If only for a moment, my dear
Can you hear the whispers
Carried in every drop?
Raindrops and tears must be sisters
Cuz once they start going, they're powerless to stop
Cry if you want to
It's a safe place to be
I'll sit here and hold you
Infinitely
Listen to the rain
And stop for a minute

If you simply let go of it

Have Fun
I'm laying here wide awake
Staring at the ceiling
The tears are streaming down my face
I'm caught off guard by the pain i'm feeling
I want you to kiss away the tears
Hold me close and stroke my hair
I can feel the return of my old fears
When i know you're arms won't be there
You were afraid i would do stuff with him
But why would i pay the price?
I barely see him as a friend
You were the onlyone i wanted in life
I'll miss you more than you think i will
But people come and go away
I would try again, but just get the bill...

All that i know
Is our friendship's been blackened
But was once pure as snow
You choose to believe rumors
Instead of accepting me for me
A sick sense of humor
But i grudgingly agree
You avoid me like crazy
As if 'emo' is cancer
You don't know how it hurts me
And you won't get the answer
I'd give anything
To redeem what once was
You stole a part of me
