How Come
How come people expose their true selves
Yet we deny that that's their character?
How come we let our walls down
When we should really build barriers?
How come we get stuck on people
Who let us go in an instant?
How come we crave the soul
Of people who don't care that we miss them?
How come...
We behave in a manner that's dumb?
Flaws in human nature
Head toward the danger when we should really run..
Flaws in human hearts
To act purely out of feeling...
Picking at old scars
When we should be healing...
How come ...

Another early morning with you on my mental
Retracing our old steps, going back through old text
You see those marks?
I guess you had to skid too
No communication with you...
But I assume from society that it's all for the best
Past loves,past cheaters,instagram post,and false friends
All advised me that you were just like the rest
I try to subdue my thoughts

Homesick
Homesick for a place I'm not even sure exist anymore
Perhaps it's something from the past that can't be recreated...
Sometimes my days drag on, my time seems subdued
And it's like I'm running in slow motion or I'm heavily sedated...
Who knows though?
Dark abysess and secret tunnels...
Watching every wall I've been defending
Fall down,shatter, and crumble...
Yeah, this is life now
Searching for old places and emotions that were better than the present...
Always thinking about past loves
And how all that passion, they could've kept it.. ...

c'est la vie
Sometimes I feel like giving up
Sometimes I fail to see the purpose
Sometimes I wanna fall apart
And sometimes I feel worthless
But sometimes I feel amazing
And maybe even indestructible
And sometimes I feel so inside my element
That I'm feeling incorruptible
But that's life though
Feelings race, leave, and change
And sometimes things get so hard
That you contemplating bullets to the brain
And things get so insane
But you gotta take a moment to breathe
Because you just have to handle it
Remember: c'est la vie

imagination
you've never left my imagination
and maybe you never will
but maybe it's time for me to adjust
and separate facts from what is real. . .
in my fantasies,
you kiss my neck and whisper in my ear
but in this reality
you're not even here
you're far away
so far, impossible to reach
and sometimes i get knots in my throat
and I struggle to speak
it's just your affect on me. . .
you numb, weaken, and paralyze me
but back to reality
where you've only lied to me
manipulated me. . .
into locking you in my soul forever
ruined...
and maybe you never will
but maybe it's time for me to adjust

Cold
Walking in the storm has me shook
Chills send through my veins
Sneaking glimpses in the mirror
Frozen over, it breaks
Say I'm cold
But around you I can see my breath
Cracks in the ice
Every time I move a step
Cold. . .
Why'd you turn me so cold
You used to make my blood boil
But now my insides feel froze
Cold. . .
Turned me into a monster
Desires deep in my chest
Broken hearts feed my hunger
Only pain can make me rest. . .
