Broken Wings
i'm like a grain of sand on an empty beach, surrounded by a zillion others, alone and fragmented, floating across infinity, awaiting a black hole to fall down, and knowing that i can no longer fly, as no other creature is attracted to me, as my magnetic force, has gone in reverse, and i have become an alienated species, drifting aimlessly into nowhere. and so fragile, i could break from the force of the wings of a butterfly

IVY
a few years ago, some seeds were laid upon my door,
they were there to poison me, and more.
they seemed to of had some success,
some of the reason of my loneliness.
they had no roots, nor foundation
yet still they appealed to their congregation
of those that chose to believe a one sided lie
a lie to deny, to the day i die
yet still it haunts me, as i age
as much as i try, to turn the next page
my epitaph deserves a more honourable end
but truth and reality seem so easy to bend
to A headless peg of wood ...

i was about to answer, but was distracted by beautiful birdsong, during an interlude from the loud gusting winds, which have now returned, and set the trees to sweep the azure skies, and clear the cobwebbed clouds away

butterflies
whilst making a sandwich,
i got some butter on my fingers
butterfingers!
glancing downwards
i noticed my flies were undone
instantly i zipped up
butterflies!
then a sip of tea
buttercup!
then whisky
butterscotch!
tried to lick the butter off
but it simply wouldn't melt in my mouth!
a bit of a butternut!

Count Macular, The Short Sighted Vampire

although, even up close, he might not see you!
The Counts eyesight was so poor, he once bit a blank, mistaking it for a blankety blank!
this pityful vampires problems worsened, when all his teeth fell out. resulting in him nearly gumming a Great Dane to death! which he had mistaken for the local Mayor!
So children, unless you want to end up as a sorry, short sighted toothless vampire, get your eyes and teeth checked regularly! The End (i hope...)
