i remember
I remember
I remember our nights together
I remember the laughs
I remember the days I was crazy
I remember the times I was mad
I remember saying I love you
I remember meaning it
I remember our song
I remember the first song you made me listen to
I remember smiling at everything you did
I remember the nights I cried over you
I remember the mornings I got up happy that I could talk to you again
I remember the love I had for you
I just hope you remember too
I remember our nights together
I remember the laughs
I remember the days I was crazy
I remember the times I was mad
I remember saying I love you
I remember meaning it
I remember our song
I remember the first song you made me listen to

good times aren't so good
Raped
Ran over
Beaten
Thrown around
Many family deaths
After awhile her family was a ticking time bomb
It scared her
Anytime
Any second
He mom or dad can beat her
Talking about her dead brother
It kills her
People talk about the good times
to her she can only remember
when he pushed her into the stairs
threw her across the room
into the wall
because he was mad at her
for what ever reason
Good times good times
Funny words
She cant remember any "good times" ...
Ran over
Beaten

Not screams for help
But screams of anger

She thought she wasn’t pretty
She used to get bullied everyday
She dated a boy who hit her
She dated a boy who broke her heart
She dated a boy who cheated on her
She was so ready to give up on dating

She made a friend who had common interest

They promised to never keep secrets from each other

Who is she?
Look in the mirror
Who do you see
A stranger looking back at me?
You look closer
She can sing
She can dance
She can draw
She is good at sports
She is smart
Yet she doesn’t sing
She doesn’t dance
She doesn’t draw
She doesn’t do sports
She doesn’t try in school
You ask why
What’s the point
She has all this talent
Why must she waist it
She tries to fit in
She smiles to hide the depression

She acts goofy to get people to like her

She was in her room not making a sound
Waiting for her mom to come home
The girl burned herself with boiling water
Her mom was going to help her

what is it
Is it in his smile?
Is it in his laugh?
Is it in his good looks?
Is it in his funny hair?
Sometimes it’s how he walks
Sometimes it’s in how he talks
Sometimes it’s in the way he says my name
Although all these things make me tingle
Melt inside like a warm chocolate
I still smile and act normal
As if he doesn’t affect me at all
