Emotions that grow old.
Life moves on as
Passion's heat becomes cold.

So easily spoken,
But nothing you can feel.
You've left a scar
That even time can't heal.

The cruelest of lies.
I no longer think of you
With tears in my eyes.

Leaves blowing gently
On this hot summer day.
No time to enjoy it,
I've got bills to pay.
Broken heart on the phone
Clinging desperately to hope
"Please don't leave me,
How can I cope?"
Brand new love
Growing stronger every day,
Leaving me breathless
As he sweeps me away.
Seeing my family
Slowly sinking down,
Deep into their bottles,
Beginning to drown.
Leaves blowing gently
In their lazy summer way.
Still got no time;
Same shit, different day.
