POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Limited Sight
Set the day underneath the bridge and watch the shadows walk over. Movements set in slow motion run down the river and ride the current of perception. Standing on the shore, you watch the water rise as it starts to caress your ankles. Flash flood warning screams in the distance.
The floor opens, and for a second, darkness, calm. Everything stops and is one. Low eyes flicker as if nothing makes sense. The picture is spinning and you are the frame. The hands from below tear the clothing of wonder and realization saves you in agony.

Clues of Life
Life is full of clues. The clues are mixed in with our personality and what makes us as our own being. Everyone has the power to see the clues, but some might choose not to or just to ignore them. The only reason a person would ignore the clues is because they are so caught up on their own life. They are living in the moment of what is happening in that very second. And by living like that, they give off their own clues about why they act the way they act, and why they are in the situations that they put themselves in. You can guide any person and help them understand everything by taking a...

The Smiths
The jar of insanity comes
and bears you with a bat and
leaves you hopeless
on the ground and
just when your about to get up
and change things
it comes back
and curb stomps you.
It seems as though
the lid has blown off and
can't be found
Where are you to help find it?
Over there?
Oh yea
I can't see you
The brick wall is
100 miles thick.
It's like a picket fence
with a neighbor
just high enough to see
their eyes
and to talk to them
only hoping everything
is normal ...

Smooth Flight Crash Landing
Smoking the cigarette that you made me
Inhaling the toxins of your breath
Breathing out the sigh of letting go
Only shorting the life with each puff
Scared of leaving not wanting to die
The addiction kills

Scared of leaving not wanting to die

True Story
I bent
down to smell a
bushel of roses,
when my head was cut
off by a throne and
landed on the
stem of
a rose
I got picked
and was given
to an only
beautiful women
I died
a short time later
gasping for air and water
just like they did
down to smell a
bushel of roses,
when my head was cut
off by a throne and
landed on the
stem of
a rose
I got picked
and was given

beautiful women
I died
a short time later

Playing in Mud
Crawling in the dirt
Waiting for the rain
to wash off the stain of wonder.
Looking down on his people
the all mighty Wizard
calls for dark clouds
and blackens the sky.
Falling from whats left of the sun
the dove scurries for cover
sensing the hypocrisy.
Wandering
in the open,
knowing every step
cannot be taken back,
the Wizard calls for rain
to trickle
down
Looking threw infant eyes
I'm frozen in motion
like a fish freshly caught
and stored in the freezer.
Waiting to be digested
