Crossing over
You have traveled to a place inside me that only you can visit. It is completely unlocked to you and you are free to stay for eternity.
If you tread with care, honesty and love it will remain open. I have let my walls down allowing you to see my bare soul.

You will never be alone
I miss when you would open up to me and our long talks.
I miss going to the beach with you and our long walks.
Every morning I wake I feel your sadness and pain.
And I want nothing more in life but for you to be happy again.
I know there is only so much someone can take,
But please you have always had such inner strength, don't ever let that break.
The miles are wide and the physical distance between us may be far.
But I have never lost the inate ability to feel what you feel and sense how you are.

Never Walk the Sand Alone
I never want to walk on the sand alone, I want to remain deep in your ocean.
Your look and your touch still make my heart fill with overwhelming emotion.
Always feeling we could swim against the waves forever,
And weather any storm that came our way together.

He weighs heavy as the tides of life ebb and flow.
Time goes by and the line between them begins to blur,
He withdraws back to reality but still longs for her.
The waves carry him far away in his mind,

Stolen is the moment, memories that last.
Quickly times of the present soon are called the past.
Words left unspoken, sorry’s left unsaid.
Friends walking in, but enemies we fled.
Distance creeps in, as time goes by.
If she won’t call, then why should I.
