When we are alone,
      you're always on the phone.
      No time for me!
      You stay on the internet,
      and don't care if I;m upset.
      No time for me!
      You leave me at home alone,
      so you can go roam.
      No time for me!
      We are slipping further apart,
      knowing this is breaking my heart.

Sitting in the park,
      listening to the dogs bark.
      I wander where you are!
      Watching the children play,
      and doing what there mothers say.
      I wander where you are!
      Waiting at home alone,
      listening for the phone.
      I wander where you are!
      Pacing up and down the floor,
      looking out the door.
      I wander where you are!
      Lying in bed looking at the sky,
      knowing I'm fixing to cry.
