I have one pink rose She's a beautiful one I lift her to my nose I do it every time, but I'm still not done She smells like perfection She looks like sunshine All she needs is a little affection I see all her ridges I see her crooked stem I see all the broken bridges I curse all of them But still her petals make a perfect curve And the color so vibrantly pink She never got what she deserved One more drop of rain, and all her petals sink
