How Jesus Turns A Negative Into A Positive
As men grow old, older than 60,
"Shrinkage" sets in.
The reverse of puberty occurs.
A "second childhood" happens.
Since men do all their fathering in their 20s,30s,40s,
Its fitting for a diminution of sexual desire
And performance to befall them in their 60s and 70s.
Men naturally feel depressed about it,
Pining away for the good old days
Of their youth, ie, sexual vigor.
They may become ashamed of what they have become:
Impotent old "has beens."
"I'm not the man I used to be,"
Sums up the attitude I sometimes have.

How Jesus Takes Away Our Guilt
Jesus said, "When a man hits you
On one side of your face
Turn to him the other cheek also"(Matthew 5.39)
Rather than fight back.
But this wasn't anything new.
Weak men (or women) already were
"turning the other cheek" on a regular basis,
Rather than provoke a beating by fighting back.
But they tended to feel bad about it afterward.
"Why didn't I hit back like I should have?"
They would be likely to say.
So by Jesus saying, "Turn the other cheek,"
He doesn't change people's behavior,
But He does cause a change in...

Black Men Owe a Debt to Black Women
Why are Black men so big below the belt?
So much bigger (its amazing) than whites?
Whites in the ancient past lived in colder climates,
The climate required them to wear clothes.
Their fair skin testifies to it.
Blacks remained in hotter zones,
The heat allowed them to remain nude.
The darkness of their sunburned skin
Testifies that they really were naked,
Exposed to the power of the sun.

Consumation of Love Between the Sky Goddess And Planet Earth
The Sky is a Woman.
She stands naked but unashamed,
Her blue beauty is exposed for all to adore.
Like panties concealing womanhood,
The clouds are covering the noonday sun.
But then the clouds disappear,
Oh the glory! What shining splendor!
Oh, the sun at its noonday zenith -
Was there ever a more perfect display of raw femininity?
The trees of the forests all stand erect,
Their leaves conceal only the treetops,
So most of each tree trunk is exposed - naked.
Oh the manly...

"The Heavens Declare The Glory Of God"(Psalms 19.1)
The heavens declare [the truth about] God."
Declare it to anyone looking up
To the night skies and seeing the stars?
No,no,no - a thousand times no!!!
What the skies reveal of God is called
God's "General Revelation" of Himself(Romans 1.19-20).
It's half of the "Double Revelation".
The other revelation of God is called
God's "Special Revelation" of Himself,
Namely the Bible, "The Word of God."
These two halves of the "Double Revelation" ...
Declare it to anyone looking up

The Millennium Equals the Church Age
(1)"The Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night"
In which the Heavens and the Earth will be destroyed.
Then comes "the New Heaven and New Earth"(2 Peter 3.10-13).
(2)This destruction and the coming of the New Heaven and Earth
Is set for the end of the Millennium(Revelation 21.1).
(3)But "The Day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night" applies

All Mankind as the Collective Son of God
Cattle produce calves, dogs produce puppies
Everything reproduces "after its kind",
Thats God's plan(Genesis 1.24-25).
But the next verse has God joining in,
Reproducing himself, as it were.
"Let Us make man in Our image, after Our Likeness"(Gen. 1.26-27).
But instead of each person being the offspring of God,
Lets think of ourselves as merely
The cells that compose the collective body of the Godling,
the divine Offspring, God's reproduction of the Eternal.
In this scenario Mankind, Human Society,Civilization ...
Everything reproduces "after its kind",

God And Joe Kennedy And JFK
I used to think God had His own life.
He spent only part of His time overseeing mankind on planet Earth.
The rest of the time He spent on other things.
So mankind was just a part or even
A small fraction of His overall interests.
but now I wonder maybe we are ALL of his interests.
His total, all-consuming obsession you could say.
Maybe He has no life other than the art, progress,heroism,etc
That God produces thru us!
Could it be that when Mozart composes a masterpiece
He is...

Necessity is Mother of Invention
But also of discovery.
For the conquest of Constantinople by the Moslems
And the cutting off of the trade route to the East
Forced the West to look for a new trade route to China.
Columbus' discovery was due to that forced necessity.
Necessity is the Mother not only of invention, discovery,
It is also the matrix for the reinterpretation of the Bible.
Christians today, thinking ones anyway, are FORCED by necessity
To reassess,reinterpret Creation Week account in Genesis...

Alone But Not Lonely
Alone - think of it as the combo
Of "all" and "one."
All one, one with the All.
What did the Buddhist say
When the hotdog vendor asked,
What do you want on your hotdog?
Make me one with everything, he replied.
Likewise, when I find myself alone,
I turn it around:
I am one with the All.
I try to imagine being one with everything.
That means feeling like I am (part of) everything.
Being one with the universe or
Being one with God,
What should be my focus?
Is there a difference?
Is heaven a place where...

Children of the Naked Sun
The sun doesn't cover up when it rises in the morning.
Rather it streaks wildly across the heavens.
Lets become children of the naked sun!
Lets take off (some of) our clothes,
Becoming semi-nude you, almost naked me!
The sun in the sky isn't the only solar orb!
For each woman has a miniature sun between her legs.
It may be an icy winter outdoors
But when a woman lets her husband enter in
They both can experience the heat of a summers day.
