Enjoy the Silence.
I dont mean to get irate when you're asking me questions
When I'm sectioning thoughts
Visiting new dimensions
But im reading a book weaved by my imagination
Thinking of various scenarios
Following intricate machinations
There may be two or three concepts grinding inside of my head
I'll pause one and continue another thought as it makes progress
I may seem stoic or that im not paying attention
But to get angry with my lack of response is simply contentious
I am no dancing monkey here to entertain
When I create it is...
When I'm sectioning thoughts

I know its wrong
But I want you anyways
I want to cuddle up under the covers with you all day
Watch some movies in the dark
Not think about kissing
Just playful little touches
Some whispers and teasing
Lost in thread counts
Talking til six in the morning
Noses rubbing
Hearts racing
Roughly wrestling
Pinning
Falling asleep on your breast
Fingers tangled in your chest
The smell of cigarettes
On your slowly drawing breath
God I love you

It was a small disaster

Try to Feel Alive.
Change doesn't happen
Solely on a wish
Understand to survive
You must take some risks
Shun the familiar
Rotting your insides
There is no comfort here
So take the first stride
It may seem a sacrifice
But you cannot kill a corpse
Its distorted form is mocking you
Rotting in your core
It is not numb you feel
It is the stench of constant death
Clean your house and find love with a beat and warming breath
Move from your town
Get a new job
Or travel for a while
Whatever...

I see the lonely and unwanted
Performing flawlessly as drinks are downed and they reveal why they're haunted
So easy for a dame like me to claim and soothe your neglected psyche
Taking sips from your soul as you offer shots without monetary fee
And I see you there all lonely, men who never really reach
Other than sentient beings, they are like defects with leprosy
Perfect men who are discarded by the shallow and the vain
Yes I find you when your so alone and exceed mundane insane

Cynical Musings
Keep on asking for handouts without realizing the fee
Nothing in this world ever comes for fuckin free
As one cannot create nor destroy energy
Nor should one be able to take nothing and create currency
Yet here we sit, in crisis, overpopulated and overwhelmed
Building up our walls as the worlds armies mutate and swell
Ready to face the fact that humans will group to survive
Then kill whomever has more to eat and drink on the other side
But sure
Let's all pretend this election is all thats at stake
War is probably the only thing...

In Silence
I woke to the tears buried deep within my dreams
The thought of leaving you unleashed a wild stream
Not just leaving but not seeing you every week will be hard
Which is why I have to leave, I can't be feeling you this hard
As I told my man our friendship will fall like a house of cards
I braced it all to stop my lip from quivering, from falling apart
At times I feel I dont mean to you what you mean to me
Or at least I think I dont
So before I find out
I've gotta leave.

After hauling the night shift
A smile readily on your face
Two alcoholix together
Enjoying a morning chase
Shots with breakfast tacos
You talk of spending more time
How about you get some sleep
And ill meet with you tonight

We got chaperones
At the hotel all of us ...
