What I want, I can't...
Follow your heart
Chase your dreams
Believe in yourself
They say it every time, it seems
They must think it helps
But my heart
Is broken
My dreams, a false hope
Myself? I don't know who that is...
I thought I did once
What a dunce...
It can be hard to cope
With this love I have for her
This token
Of my hopelessness
She has another
And what I want
I can't ...
To hold her
Would be a work of emotional art
A dream, had every night
But never realized
My life is a constant fight
With my own emotions ...

Loneliness, my friend...
Loneliness, my old friend
Why won't you end
It's clear we don't exactly get along
Only ok when I hit the bong
In an age where songs are nothing more than beats
And love means nothing more than a few moments of heat
In a cold world
You have been there with me all along

I'm tired of the game of words
That some call love
I want real, like that of doves
A love that is something that belongs

Sudden realization
Can't believe how far I've come,
Down and up and down some more
What for
Only days to come
Will tell
I feel like I'm in hell
Almost hear the tolling of the bells
Been here before
Will be again
But those times in between are for
Making the most of them
Those rare moments of sanity
Sometimes even beauty
Must be cherished
And I just realized that as of right now
All I want is someone who truly understands

It kills me
Before I die
I'll tell you what's killing me
It's the same thing that makes others feel alive
And there was a time
That it did the same for me
It is the same thing that they say will never end
That will cause me to bend
And break, not in two
But into a universe of nothingness
Is it because of you
No, that's not true
But what's killing me is this
Love for you
And knowing that there is nothing I can do
Nothing I can say,
No way
To change your mind
That I can find
And it kills me

Breathe
Just breathe
That is what they say
But it sounds more like I'm being teased,
If only breathing came with ease
I'm sick
Not in my body but in my mind
Each day
I struggle to lift the ton of brick
That is my heart
And of course, I find
It impossible
And simply breathtaking
I'm sinking
Possibly
Into my grave
And I don't want to breathe
Anymore
That is what they say
But it sounds more like I'm being teased,
If only breathing came with ease
I'm sick

I thought of you again
Back then
Every thought

But now that you're gone

An onslaught

Took a trip to Cali
To see my aunt Cathy

The only thing I don't miss
You, I miss you,
Your voice I miss too,
Your every word grips my heart and caresses my soul
Your picture warms me when the rest of the world is cold
To be honest, the only thing I don't miss
Is every opportunity I get
To talk with you and
Though I haven't even felt you yet,
I imagine your touch is like warm sand
Your kiss,
Like a thunderstorm of bliss
You are my best friend and the only thing I don't miss,
Is the space between us
And what I won't miss, is the shot of lead
To the head
Of anyone who hurts you
trust in me,
