Thank You For Your Time
A plastic memory
and synthetic kindness
Bowls of empathy left empty
with a sip of common decency left behind.
I took that small drink to rid myself of cotton mouth
caused by your vague hits of poorly answered questions
that stab and swim around the back of my mind like the parasite
That love has become.

The animal is restless
Looking for water
a muddy puddle is the best
That he can find to clench his thirst
The animal is hungry
Looking for food
a rotten carcass is the best
That he can find to stop his hunger

Just Afraid
Broken mirrors, and butterflies
When its time to face it, I hide
I'm not ashamed of that
I'm just afraid
Broken thoughts, and an even broker man
a shadow of that, who I can be
But a guidance, a guidance
a voice, that I just SOOO love to hear
it makes me smile, and come out of my shell
I'm no longer afraid to die
C'mon, send me to hell
If I love her, If I love him
What does it all matter?
I can cry, and cry
But it never feels any better

I'm tired

dumbly wishing its love
But false hope
The only kind thats real
Has come into the light again

My Name Is Cynical
I've seen this coming
My day of rest
My only, third attempt
to end all of this
I put the razor
So close to my skin
and begin to cut
a puddle of red
I hear it drip
drip, drop
I hear it fall
drip, drop
a very quiet noise
to most
but to me
It explodes
Loud, vigorous
blasting in
Not caring
Who hears
Makes me think
Of the future
I'm excited
Still pessimistic
When the day is done
The glass is half full
What a crock of shit
Call me 'Cynical'
Bereaved and...
