How can I tell you I’m in pain and you can’t fix it
That you must watch me each day as I breakdown from the inside
How can I tell you that it hurts to see you with your family each day and know mine is gone
How can I tell you that yes your my family too but you have a family of your very own
How can I tell you I feel abandoned by my own blood left to pick up the shattered pieces of the life we once knew
How can I tell you I feel the pain of a motherless child orphaned off to the next of kin a responsibility they shouldn’t have deal with

She suffered in silence
Scared to speak
Every word she says comes out wrong
But the pain is much deeper
Her very soul is crying out for help
Her remedy the devil’s lettuce
One hit and she can forget just for the moment
That she’s dying inside
Lost in a time that she doesn’t fit in with

meaning to life?
your born being innocent not knowing the struggles of the world then you ask yourself one simple question "what is my purpose in life,"? you search for the answer all around. then you lose focus and become like everyone else forgetting your mission but once you look in the mirror you realize it and begin again you know you may never find the answer but you can at least try. you go on each day looking at the people around you wondering if they even know the answer till you just settle that you may never get the answer so you go on each day to make a purpose for yourself instead of...

i look in the mirror each day
i am puzzled by the face i see
the mask that's on
is slowly cracking
day by day i brush a piece away
my true face coming out
masked for years by people's words
time for me to take control
to show the real me
and not a mask of what they want me to be
times are changing the facade must go
this will be off completely soon

people can say sorry
but the scars remain
sixteen long years full of pain
every word was another cut
when something happens
they want to care
but did they care
when the cause of pain
was them
they're sorry now
that's what they say
i can forgive them
but my memories won't go away

dark clouds form across the sky
thunder and lighting begins to growl
the rain pours soaking the ground
i stand not making a sound
the rain covers me
washing away my terrible memories
i look to the sky
my mouth opened wide
i let out a scream
heard from miles
crumbling to the ground
my thoughts leaving
eyes closed tight
a peace comes over me
calming me down
it was then i knew
i would be ok

this pain I have I've felt for years everybody's taunting snare they don't know I am the only light they don't know that my mind is the sight this pain it helps me help the others my sisters and brothers they have no idea the pain I take will always help me open the gate to the place we can be our selves so I leave them there to stare

my mind drifts to a time when i was young and free
then i became older and saw the world for what it truly was
a great big wonder filled with secrets and lies
i searched far and wide for one piece of hope
i found it in a child's mind
innocent for years till
they reach the age
where in the world they must struggle to find their place
hardship after hardship the search
some have found while others have given up hope
but in the mind and heart is where you will
find what this world truly has in mind
for there is always time
then i became older and saw the world for what it truly was

bonded by blood that runs through our veins
we never look the same
age,height,and personality to
we only share love which holds like glue
what happens when the bond is broken
and confusion comes out
time passes a tragedy occurs
the bond once broken becomes whole again
and the love is back
but will it change just like time
or can we finally have peace

drowning in a pit of despair
sinking further down till it consumes you
and fills you with dought
your thoughts turn bitter and full of pain
thinking that you will never be the same
you try to fight it but it worsens each time
