My work is a matter of opinion. I just know with every rhyme I find a reason and without reason I'd have no ryhme. I'm far less complicated than you'd ever know if only you knew me at all.

Chaotically chosen
Slumber slips into the light.
A constant shade of blue!
I wonder if I've done enough
To be enriched by you.
Steady is the pulse of life...
Trembling hands and feet...
Cotton candy lips invite...
The sweeter things I seek.
And in this state of mind I lye...
Alone and out of breath.
I think of times when I was young
Believing I knew best.
By now, for sure, I'd have a plan...
At least, or so I thought.
Presently I sit amongst...
A thousand things I'm not.
Chaotically chosen...
To be what...

When we're ghosts
I never thought as a child
I'd find someone like you that
just drives me wild.
You think you're fat but I don't.
If you think I'll leave well I won't.
We'll be in love when we're ghosts.
I'll never leave you alone.
We'll be together in sickness and health
I'll love you better than anyone else.
And when we're both old and gray
I'm still gonna love you this way!
Rather than say it, I just wrote it down
I should be working but I'm all worked out.
Instead I'm just sitting here wasting the day ...
I'd find someone like you that
just drives me wild.

Chastise
I wanted to tell you...but I was afraid
Let me cover the backdrop in scratches of gray
Leave a letter...it's better...
I'll write it down
Just a couple of things I'm noticing now.
I won't chastise all that we are
Because you and me baby
Are shooting stars!

That's not who I am!

I'm sorry I said the things I said.
I was looking for someone to blame

In this illusion I see it so clear
The cause and effect are all standing near
Your template before me.
It's always the same.
Im alone in the morning

Rearranging the stars
Too many times its appeared
Burning circles around me like fear
These cold rusty chains try to hold me
The one with the key claims he knows me...
But I feel safe where I stand.
In this darkness I reach for your hand.
Ten thousand tears can't make these crops grow.
This garden is dead!
There's nothing to show!
The vibrant display of green, blue, and red...
They've withered away like the thoughts in my head.
January just doesn't feel the same.
Its the first breath of a new year...
But nothing will change!...

Beautiful Waste
I wish I'd known you better
Teenage angst and tangerine signs
kept you at bay
And I wear all those wishes still
As bright lights inside me
A messy mosaic I've left on the floor
Afraid you would make it not mine anymore.
I whispered ultimatums too soft in your head
Entirely useless to persuade you instead
This canon ball feeling stays in the clouds
A silk screen of good things...you'll remember me now
Aphrodite was fruitless in her hunt for a king
She had beauty and power but fell victim to greed

Great big beautiful
Does anybody want her?
She's falling behind
A victim of herself
Time after time.
And she moves with the waves of the ocean
Like a great big beautiful ship
Its easy to tear her bow open
In the hand of an all mighty grip.
Its like you can't even hear me
Its like you don't even care
Its like my worlds disappearing
And maybe its never been there.
But tempers are temporary
Hence the name they received
Like monsters we can seem scary
Only to smile my way when you leave.

Barbed Wire
Let me down easy
I don't wanna die slow
If you don't need me
I don't wanna know
Its been a hard year
Its taken its toll
You haven't been here
You left me alone
I'm a child in a world full of giants and thieves
They rob and they plunder and take what they need
I feel as though there's nowhere to turn
Let this war be a lesson from which we can learn.
I'll write definitions that darken the sky
The mirage has no meaning that's why it's gone dry
I stand on the banks of a sandy slope, tired
My hands bound...
I don't wanna die slow

I don't wanna know
Its been a hard year

You said it all
With no words
The most beautiful story
I'd ever heard.
I wasn't a child
I wasn't a man
I was stuck in the middle
And in the middle I stand.
(Cut by the callousness of a cruel hearted man)
We lasted a while
Through heaven and hell
Both in denial
Our kingdom had fell
From the outside it seemed surreal
We put on a show
How does it feel
now that you know?
(Do my cuts tell you so?)
I search for an ending...
Some way to let this...
With no words
The most beautiful story

I have to say it back to you so we can get some sleep...reassure your self assessment 'cause we both know you're weak. I chase around your demons ignoring my decline. The fight
Despite reservations
She just let's it go
It's easier bending
Than selling her soul
He never let's up
She's already heard...
His words they surround her
Like a flesh eating bird.
Its her addiction
It keeps her in line.
He plays with her sickness
Eroding her mind
She has to escape this incomprehensible place
But where does one go
When they're broke and betrayed
She needs understanding
He wants to blame
He's at fault too
He's guilty the same.
He can stay in the mansion ...

These ramshackled memories are all that I have.
And I know they're not leaving
They're just making me sad.
I tried to suppress them...
I tried to pretend...
but trying was useless...
it's the same in the end.
You see what you want to...
That's just how It is.
With all that you've taken...
I've nothing to give!
Quiet, sleepless,
peaceful beats...
inside my chest they
still repeat...
the same old rhythm ,
song and tune...
Melodic points that light this room.
Im weighted down.
The night is...
And I know they're not leaving
They're just making me sad.
I tried to suppress them...
